Hi everyone!

I used my Ranger dye ink to stamps the sweet little stitched flower, button and leaf images for the background of my card. I then die cut the flowers, leaves and little button from plain white paper to add to my card.  I die cut the circle from an unbranded die and then stamped the 'we LOVE YOU' in the blue ink.  I finished my card off with a few iridescent sequins.  I love this card as the colours are really as vibrant as you see here- and of course, I love anything Wplus9 so it's an all round win for me!  This card will be heading off to my Sister!

Just a side note regarding the Ranger inks -which I sincerely LOVE - I purchased them in a UK online store, for a fabulous price - click the link if you've been thinking about purchasing some - they were on offer and selling fast.( At the time of this blog posting, there were not many ink pads left but lots of re-inkers in stock).

So, that's it for now.  Look out for my next post (Saturday) I have some exciting news to share!

In the meantime, take care,

Leaves so bright!

Good Morning, all :)

Hope you are having a good start to your day?

These two cards below, were posted on over at my Instagram account - the second pic was posted with a caution - that background....it's so bright! lol

I have been enjoying playing with the Autumn Morning, rustling leaves stamps from Crafter's Companion UK.  I've created cards with traditional Autumn colours but on these two cards, I fancied a change - Oh my...seriously, they are as bright at they look.  I used Ranger Dye inks to stamp these leaves and I have to say I LOVE these inks! The background of the second card was made using Distress inks.  I'm calling that card my 'Tree of Hope' - I shall be framing it & placing it on my craft room wall.

I hope my cards have 'brightened' your day ;-)

I would like to include my first card into the following challenges:

Stress free Distressing!

Good Morning!
Just a quick post as I am needed in the garden, hubs has an agenda and I am on it LOL

My card today is one of de-stressing & distressing - creating this masculine card!  I'm pleased with how it turned out & enjoyed the process of bending the inks!

I will be back soon with a longer post!

Hi!

I have a couple of cards to share today.  I must admit, to get the results of the cards below I have had to practice, practice, practice!  I have been frustrated to the hilt I can tell you.....Oh these layering stamps ...while the end result looks gorgeous, trying to get them lined up when I started  out stamping them,  and looking half decent - DID NOT look decent - ha! But I persevered and believe me, these results look a 100 x better that when I started out.  I still have a lot to learn, so long may I continue learning - heehee!

These gorgeous stamps come from Wplus9 and are the free-hand florals stamps.

Hope you like?

That's it for now, see you next time!

Get Well

Hi everyone - Happy Thursday to you!
Today, I am sharing with you a card I made for my Father - he's out of hospital recovering from an aortic arterial aneurysm repair -he's doing well & he loved his card!
To make my card I used Papersmooches stamps & coloured the plasters & background with Distress inks & then added a little clear wink of stella to the hearts. I then Matted onto red & black card & then added to my card base. Simples! And fun do to -I do love a bit of distress' smooshing'!
 That's it for now!

Morning all!

I've got myself into a habit of creating cards but not blogging them! Why do I do that? I can't promise that I'll change but here's a start, a card I created using WPlus9's freehand floral stamps by Dawn Wholeslagle.  I just love her stamps & video's on YouTube - she makes it look so easy creating her little beauties - me, on the otherhand, finds it NOT so easy BUT I do enjoy the learning part, so that's something!

I CASEd her card (so gorgeous), although I do need more practice in stamping these layered dies - good job I love 'em, so it wont be a problem in trying to layer them right lol

I'm pretty pleased how the card turned out & happy to have it posted out  to a lady who has been diagnosed with cancer.  There is a request from her darling Daughter, on the Stamping Enablers Facebook group (click link for actual post request).  I know it's a tough time for her & her family & I so hope receiving all the handmade cards will bring a smile to her heart :)

That's all folks!

See you next time!

Long time no see!

Good morning, Peeps!

Wow, am I a bit late to wish you a Happy New Year, seeing as it's now MARCH! Erm, this is my first visit to my blog this year! I've been slack in that department, although I have been visiting blogs to see and read all about your crafty yumminess!

Anyhoo...I decided to POST a card I created last night - apologises though for my rubbish photo - it certainly has not captured the brightness of the finished card.  I was playing with die-cutting, trying to get ahead of myself by diecutting a batch of my word dies, one of which, was Mama Elephant's Happy word die.  As I was poking the negative parts out from the word I had the idea of trying to make something with the 'bit's - so after paying around I came up with this little creation.  I had such fun! The rain drops. flower, stem, leaves & butterfly/bug (whatever YOU think it looks like-hehe) were all from the HAPPY word die! To spice it all up, I used Tim Holtz distress inks to colour and shade plus the background of my panel - which incidentally, was used on the shiny side of Centura Pearl card stock.

I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things with posting more creations but bear with me - we have a new addition to our family, a ten week old puppy! Things have been interesting since having her for the past two weeks - she's a fast learner and an ever faster grower LOL

Here she is with our older dog!

Until next time,
